Now this is what I call a cozy mystery! Perfect setting, great characters, magical bookshop, and a love triangle. I adore Violet and her Grandma Daisy. They are the perfect combo. I do hope that the magical bookshop aspect picks up a bit. I wanted more books choosing their owners' sort of vibe. I did get a little annoyed at the repetition of Emily Dickenson’s book of poems but I realized it was that way because Violet wasn’t too sure of how things worked yet and it needed to keep pushing the envelope for her to get to the bottom of things. I also thought the mystery was just ok because it was obvious that something was amiss in that area (if you know what I mean). I liked the history of the town and the other bits of history mixed into the story. Look forward to continuing the series.
