This was okay - maybe 3.5 stars. I liked the female and male main characters well enough but didn't really care about any of the other characters. There just wasn't enough time spent developing them or their relationships to the main characters. I also didn't form much attachment to either so l'm not sure how memorable their story will be for me. While the author did a good job of keeping the overall tone light throughout the book, I did get whiplash a little bit between the tooth rotting fluff with the romance and the depressing reality the other girls were experiencing. I did really enjoy the world building, though I'm undecided on whether I'll check out any of the other books in the series
