This is a difficult book to judge.
I loved it when I was reading it, got totally pulled into it, but the second half of the book became weird and strange and overly complicated. The ending was, well, sickly sweet; a weird contrast with all those dead bodies that came from (almost) everywhere.
Halfway through I would have given it 5 stars. At the end, I only wanted to give 1; so I am gone for the middle value of 3 stars.
