The Double and the Gambler by Fyodor Dostoevsky

The double? Amazing. Stunning. I understand why it’s a famous work of Dostoevsky’s. The gambler is definitely weaker in comparison, but it’s a fun sort of tonal shift from most of his other works. It’s lighter, has less layers. I imagine I will visit both of these again, most likely the double before the gambler. I did also have to google the ending of the double, but apparently that’s pretty normal.
