I decided to skip Offside because it’s like 500 pages which I already know is going to be excessive for a stand alone hockey romance lol. I felt like Shutout was a good length but could have been organized better.
I appreciated the fact that this wasn’t one of the more common story lines where the main characters are together and happy with 200 pages left in the book lol. I thought the pacing was pretty good for the most part although the ending felt a bit rushed.
On another note- I found it really weird that Sera changed schools to be closer to her mom who is battling cancer but she never actually spends any time with her other than to take her to a couple doctors appointments??
