I am a HUGE Pride & Prejudice fan, specifically the film (The 2005 one with teh Darcy hand flex OBVIOUSLY). And I thought this was such a wonderful adaptation while holding it's own.

I think the highlight if the story for me was Oliver's father and how supportive he was of his transness. Typically in trans books the parents aren't supportive so it was very refreshing to see especially from a father!

I also loved that when
his mother found out she completelyc hanged her tune and said that making her son wear dresses was a ridiculous idea.

Darcy had just the perfect amount of angst and I loved that this story led him to self acceptance and PRIDE.

I also lived when
Oliver became the one who would  inherit his family'  estate!

The author's note was also quite beautiful! I loved learning a bit more about queer history.
