Emberly is done with being pushed around and abused. So, when her roommate invited her out with her friends, the last thing she expected was to run into her abusive ex. With her fight or flight in full swing, she decides to stand her ground and prove to her ex she has moved on…by grabbing the nearest man next to her, who happens to be the recently released from prison, head of the local mafia.
Roman is recently released and full of revenge plans. The most pressing, being getting his family business back from the family who betrayed his. And in order to do that he needed the unknown daughter of the man he just had killed.
When she grabs him in the club, all his plans got a lot simpler…….
