The Remarkable Journey of Coyote Sunrise by Dan Gemeinhart

Grief makes Coyote Sunrise wise beyond her years. She is resilient and kind and smart. As she travels the country in a modified bus with her dad, Rodeo, her world view is challenged and grows. The people they meet, and help, along the way help her through her grief and come alive in new ways.

The family we have and the family we make can strengthen us in our darkest, hardest times. We all come from different backgrounds, and because of our experiences we are stronger together. As Coyote says, it’s hard to trust others, but being all alone is even more scary.

I highly recommend this #middlegradereads with caution ⚠️. TW include: Grieving death of spouse/parent, and child/sibling.  LGBTQIA+ issues. Physical abuse.
