Hmmm....

Samantha "Sammie" Trotten, the smitten lovesick girl who is in love with her neighbor who also happens to be her big brothers best friend. Sammie is the quiet reserved girl who keeps herself hidden because putting yourself out there means that people will see you. When she lets her guard down one time it proves to be the worse decision she makes for a long time.

Keeland Masters, the hot and off limits neighbor. Friends with his neighbor and constantly picking on the little sister of said best friend. Life has a nasty way of coming in at the wrong moments, when he is whisked away after making a promise with no contact for years everything seems to fall in place until it doesn't. Will Keeland be able to make it back into the good graces of the person he hurt all those years ago?

This one was a different pace and I loved it. After coming off an emotional read before I started this book I was surprised to find the lightness within the pages. Even though at times it got emotional it was overall a great good paced read. I can't wait to read more from this author and possibly more in this series from the characters. Looking forward to getting my hands on them!
