Monday Mourning by Kathy Reichs

4.0

Another great listen from the Kathy Reichs Temperance Brennan series. Tempe always seems to stumble on to cases that are more than what they first seem (wouldn’t be much of a story if that wasn't the case). With the discovery of bones found in the basement of a pizzeria, Tempe must prove that the bones found are from the last century otherwise the police will chalk this up to an archeological find. But Tempe will not give up on the three young women found in the basement and with science and some sleuthing, Tempe unearths a mystery more chilling than she could have imagined. I’ve really enjoyed listening to all of these novels. I am primarily a romance reader so throwing a mystery in now and then is a great way to break up my normal reading pattern. This does leave me wanting to know more about the relationship that Tempe has with Detective Ryan but the mystery is definitely forefront in this novel. Great read!
