This one is a bit different from James Patterson's usual novels. More dystopian/sci-fi than his regular cop procedural style. The are enough different POVs that numerous narrators are used. If there was only a single narrator I think it would have gotten too confusing to follow properly. I don't want to say too much because I don't want to give anything away. Essentially things begin going wrong in a small town. They quickly relize they don't have communication outside of their community and residents are having difficulty trying to leave. Everything goes south from there. A quick pace and an interesting plot.
