This was a beautiful and emotional read. There were multiple POVs and time jumps but at no point did I feel confused in the story. Livia, the FMC flies to Taiwan to help her grandmother in finding her long lost daughter. A task that seemed impossible but turns into a much more memorable and deeper journey of self discovery, healing, and love. I appreciated how the author portrayed the FMC’s ptsd. It was realistic and wasn’t done in a way to make her seem like a weak character but a real person. I also loved the relationship between Livia and her grandmother and it reminded me of me and mine.
