WOW! What a story. I read this on the recommendation of a friend of mine and absolutely fell in love. It's a quick read, easily read in a night or two. The exploration of emotion, loss, grief, and family conflict is done so well. LaRocca's prose is so unique and paints a muddy and marred picture of the setting, but it lends itself so well to what he was trying to do here. I really can't recommend this book enough!
