I just finished my ARC (advanced reader copy) of A Grave Roast and I loved it! It was a fun and delightful read. I had to slow myself down because I didn't want it to end. I enjoyed how the author described this small town and its inhabitants. I was intrigued by the relationships between neighbours, and how the readers were treated to delectable tidbits of information. Piper is a lovably flawed character with a sassy familiar and curious café mascot. I can only hope that more mysteries need to be solved by Piper, with her adorable sidekicks, and perhaps a love interest.
