The Third Twin by Ken Follett

3.0

This is a gripping read about what can happen when genetic experiments go dreadfully awry.

In the early 70s, a genetics company sought to create the perfect soldier by cloning intelligent, aggressive young men. Now a research scientist has discovered the experiment, and now her own life is endangered.

This is both suspenseful and disturbing. It becomes a matter of greed, influence, and money as the three owners of the genetic company attempt to protect themselves and the young men they've created. There is some thoughtful stuff in here on the old debate of nurure versus nature. There is some profanity here and there are a couple of scenes that include some sexual descriptions as one of the aggressive young men attempts to harm the female researcher who is about to blow the entire operation open.
