I don’t really understand the negative reviews of this book. It was a breezy retelling of King Arthur in a high school setting with a refreshingly strong yet realistic teen character. I loved Elle — she reacted to thinks like a real, logical, but confused teenager. I liked how the Arthurian stuff was worked in but not overdone. Perfect for a light, sweet YA fantasy.
