The Survivors Club by Lisa Gardner
4.0

Does Lisa Gardner have a boring bone in her body? If she does, it sure doesn't show in her writing. You can expect plenty of thrills in any of her fast-paced and well researched novels, and The Survivors Club is no exception.

It's Roan Griffin's first day back as a Rhode Island state police detective after a long hiatus from work owing to the death of his wife and a serial child murder case that nearly broke him. It doesn't take any time at all before he becomes embroiled in another case that is sure to leave its mark: Serial rapist Eddie Como has just been assassinated outside the city courthouse, and the prime suspects in the case are the women who were once his victims.

Jillian Hayes, Carol Rosen and Meg Pesaturo formed The Survivors Club after narrowly escaping Como with their lives. With Hayes as their de facto leader, the women have had one goal: to bring Eddie Como to justice.

Just when the case of the College Hill Rapist seems to be all locked up, Como seemingly rises from the dead and strikes again. Will Griffin be able to solve the mystery and bring the rapist to justice? Expect lots of twists and some pretty dark pyschological issues in The Survivors Club. It's a real page-turner!
