Three Act Tragedy by Agatha Christie
4.0

And another great novel by Agatha Christie. Maybe this story didn’t stand out as much for me as other novels she wrote did, but it has all the elements that make her detective stories great. I really liked the usage of theatre elements for the story’s structure, some characters and some situations; making them conduct the plot as the titles implies. As always I was in the dark about the criminal of the story till the end, when the eccentric Hercule Poirot explained everything in detail; and as always everything made sense and no plot hole was left behind. Maybe I would have liked for the Belgian detective to have a bigger role in the story, but at least the author made a great job connecting the discoveries of the different characters so when the detective finally appeared there were no repetitive findings or explanations.
