So Thirsty by Rachel Harrison

5.0

So Thirsty is a vampire novel, but it is so much more. Harrison provides a fresh take on the vampire genre, but at the heart of this novel is the friendship between Sloane and her lifelong friend Naomi, as a fun night out turns in horror.

This book examines life and friendship and how one’s desires shift and change through life. Most importantly, it is about making changes for yourself and taking ownership of your life.

Harrison’s strong writing and witty humor plays well with the dark themes at play in this book. If you enjoyed her previous novel, Black Sheep, I think you’ll enjoy this one as well.

This one gets a strong recommendation from me, especially if you are looking for a fast, first-person, plot/character hybrid with a fun twist on the vampire genre.

Thank you to Berkley and NetGalley for providing me with an eARC!
