This was such a beautifully written story about the natural connection yet competition between siblings, especially twins. You get to sit in their minds and view the world how they do due to Nelson’s impeccable writing style.
You’re constantly rooting for noah and jude to make the right decisions but always come to understand and sympathize with them when they make the wrong ones.
The relationships they had throughout the book were so true and genuine and complicated. One of the only things that really put me off was the age differences that seemed like they were brushed off within the novel. Couldn’t really romanticize or support the gap once I knew it was there.
All in all, definitely recommend others to read. Taught me great valuable lessons and I’m looking forward to reading again.
