I liked how Avery became more of a Hawthorne, starting to think like the grandsons and playing the games. Also enjoyed that the author never made her stupid.

Why the subplot of Grayson??? It was always a will they won’t they between Avery, Grayson and Jameson and it was never truly explored?! I liked how Jamie changed for the better when he fell in love but also I really wanted Grayson more explored, I feel like they deserved a bigger moment than that kiss in the first book.
