Taylor Jenkins Reid knows how to write characters that you love to death despite their flaws. She writes about decades gone by as if she was there and it’s transfixing.
This book felt like a hug while also pulling at my heart. I would’ve liked the dual time frames to continue into the second half of the book and to have seenmore of the party’s aftermath, not just the party itself. Especially with several other characters that got introduced late into the book that felt very unnecessary. But that first half was totally captivating.
