Who's That Girl? The Autobiography of Eve by Eve

4.0

3.5 I have always loved Eve and her music so I was excited to read this book but I was left a little disappointed. I listened to this on audiobook and I felt like Eve’s emotional connection to the book was lacking. I also felt like Eve was holding back. She would tell a some stories but not give names or any indication on who she was talking about. Not that I wanted the book to be messy I just felt like we could have gotten more. Even when she talked about her ectopic I thought she would give more like how she felt emotionally, mentally, or physically…it was like she was holding back. I respect Eve for not letting the industry turn her into this sex symbol like so many other female rappers. I also liked her honesty about how female rappers are treated and put up against each other.
