CHAPTER 1 to CHAPTER 193
This is so GOOD. The characters are my comfort people, I'm gonna cry if ever they'll die! If they die then it would be the death of me too. I like the humor of this book, the constellations are so funny, like everytime they comment about a certain scenario or a person, I laugh like crazy. The characters are so unique and heartwarming I LOVE LOVE them. [your understanding of the characters has reached Lv. 999] The writing wasn't that great but still this book is SO SO good that I didn't care if the writing is lyrical or not. The plot is kinda cliche though like I hate books or films when the plot involves a book that the character reads becomes real or like a main character is transported in the book they're currently reading something like that, BUT BUT "Omniscient Reader" is different, it was BRILLIANT, ITS MINDFUCK, IT HAS A LOT OF TWIST, YOU WOULDN'T SEE IT COMING IN and only a genius could think of a plot as GREAT as this. The novel had me on edge because what if Kim Dokja really died? huuhuh I felt like I'm going psycho because of this. The translation was bit awkward sometimes for example: "Dokja-sshi" sshi (씨) is an honorific in Korean and so if you're going to translate it in English (ok ok this is just base from my knowledge and this is what my Korean Language teacher taught me) it would be "Mr. Dokja" but if you're gonna use that then it wouldn't sound welcoming (do you guys get me?) I'm okay with it though and to be honest I adore it like in that way international readers would gain knowledge of Korean culture! Speaking of Korean culture, I learned LOTS LOTS of vocab here! But idk how it is going to help me on my Korean Lang. class ? I'm mean like who the hell talks about demons in their everyday conversation?! XD Anyways, all I wish is that none of the people in their found family would die, please lord I'm begging you. IF ever one of them dies, I'm on the author's throat, joking. (P.S.: I'm curious on who the author of "Ways of Survival" like what kind of being are they?! Why did they write it?! )
