Cinder by Marissa Meyer

5.0

I had zero interest in this book. Then I took a closer look at the cover, read the back, and realized that Cinder is a cyborg. I was in. And the story did not disappoint. Cinder is a take-charge mechanic instead of your typical passive fairy-tale female, plus she's funny. There's a plague going around and people with special powers live on the moon. Basically, you won't like this book if you can't handle quite a bit of weirdness. But if you enjoy wacky scifi with a bit of heart, this is a winner.
