Down the Aisle by Christine Bell

4.0

I really enjoyed parts of this novella. Lacey and Galen are preparing for their wedding but also facing a lot of issues pertaining to them trying to start a family.

While I truly enjoyed the novella I felt that the way they were shutting each other out was odd so close to their wedding. Yes, the issues they faced were heartbreaking and probably filled them with despair, but they had options. It wasn't as though there was no way for them to have a family. The few leads they started with didn't pan out. Unfortunately that's the truth for many people trying to adopt children.

I felt that they should have stopped trying to shove everything in to this time period already known for being highly stressful. It just felt like were rushing to begin everything all at once.
