For the past 3 years I kept on seeing this book in stores across the world. Every time that I walked past it, I was drawn to it. Finally, I picked it up for a read along with my Mom. And am I ever glad that I did.
This is a book that you can pick up over and over again. It is a quick read as the chapters are short and sweet while at the same time leaving you wanting to read just one more chapter. While at times I found one of the characters extremely unlikeable, Shelby builds their development in such an organic way that you are satisfied with their arc by the end of the book.
For those who keep on walking past Remarkably Bright Creatures, stop. Pick it up and please read it. It is a remarkably beautiful story.
