Sunny Side Up

This was a solid middle grade graphic novel that tackled more serious subjects very well. Sunny is not too happy when she is sent to visit her grandfather in Florida who lives in a retirement community in the 70s. Told in alternating chapters from the pervious months we learn why her parents sent her. There were moments where I was laughing because her grandfather and his friends were very similar to my family. If you looking for books to kids/students to read then I would recommend it.
