I’m simply flat-out angry at this book. It seems as if Tom Perrotta had never met a middle-aged woman in his life. If you clearly don’t give a shit about a certain demographic then please don’t write a novel attempting to characterize said demographic. Stick to white, straight, cis-gendered men and you’ll be fine.
