Listening to Nikki narrate her story gave me a little better understanding of her and her thought process. But it was just a peek. Previously listened to Samantha Power and Susan Rice and felt like they really pulled back the curtain and let you see the good, the bad and the ugly but This reads cautious. She lets some of the ugly show but then tells you to move along.
I liked how she was unapologetic for her ambition but it didn't sit right with me that she thought her lack of experience was a good thing, especially in the foreign policy arena. While I did understand better her thought process for the decisions she made while At the UN, and can even agree with some of them, I still am unable to understand her dismissal of DJT's words and actions and her ability to claim him as a friend. I was hoping to gain some rationale about Republicans' allegiance to DJT but I didn't find it here.
