This book is an okay read. I enjoyed the first half much more than the second half. I felt like there were large parts of the plot that weren’t ever explained. The FMC is constantly mentioned that she is fragmented but it never goes into detail what that means. The political set up is a bit vague and hard to follow. At one point I thought that
Rashay had been defeated but apparently not???
the MMC and FMC had great tension for a little bit but then it just sort of dropped off. The action was hard to follow at times and there is a lack of description with many of the characters which makes it hard to picture. Some of the writing used great comparisons which I really enjoyed but the overall storyline got lost. Unsure if I will continue with the series but the last line was intriguing.
