Out of all of the books in this series, this is the one I most wish was longer. Because it was important that so much time be spent on Earth, I found the world to be less fleshed out than most others in the series. I enjoyed the short trip to the Moors, and it made me wish we could’ve heard about a couple other aforementioned worlds (especially ones we haven’t spent much time in, as Jack and Jill already have three [four, if you include the short story “In Mercy, Rain”] stories dedicated to them).
That is my only criticism. This was absolutely my favorite of the series thus far. I left completely broken.
