Funny Feelings by Tarah DeWitt

5.0

The amount of times I had to aggresively throw my book down on my couch from the angst and feels while reading this was crazy. I also don't think I've ever uttered the words holy guacamole before but this book just pulled them out of me. Friends to lovers is my jam and when it contains the amount of pining this book had, it's going to be an instant 5 star read for me. I thought Farley and Meyer were really well rounded likeable characters and because of their great communication skills they had some really beautiful heart-to-hearts in between the humour and banter. (Also emotionally available men who are very passionate about the importance of therapy? Yes please, A+.)

The only reason I didn't finish this one in a day was because I wanted to enjoy it for as long as possible. I cannot wait to dive into Tarah Dewitt's other books now :)

Spoiler The only thing I'm not a huge fan of, is when books end with marriage and pregnancies and this one had both. I would just love to see more romance books that end openly, where marriage isn't the end goal. I think it did make sense because of Farley's story but I would have liked for it to be open for interpretation.
