Very thoughtful and depressing take on the future and humanity. Has interesting stuff to say about governments, power structures and religion. Fantastic world building and interesting characters (though not the best) I found it enjoyable to read but it is dense and I would only recommend it if you are already a fan of sci-fi/fantasy.

Even though I like it, it feels dated at points. I would of liked to see a more nuanced take on gender. It is also a bit fat phobic and if not explicitly homophobic, the only character who isn't straight is also a pedophile and horrible villain.
