Can I appreciate the world building in this? Yes. Did I like anything in this book other than Princess Donut and Mongo? Nope. There was too much description in some places and not enough description in others. The women are over sexualized, including unnecessarily graphic descriptions of private parts. There is so much misogyny in the book that I caught myself rolling my eyes frequently. When I can only enjoy the last seven chapters in a book it doesn't feel like it is worth reading. The only salvation for me was the narration by Jeff Hayes. His performance is absolutely incredible. He is such a talented voice actor and if you are going to read this book anyway, you might as well listen to his performance.
