I don’t know how to rate this book. I appreciate the author’s talent and what she accomplished, sharing her sister’s story to speak out against femicide in Mexico. The use of her sisters journals was incredibly poignant.
And yet. And I feel awful saying it. So much of this book was incredibly boring. Pages of the journals of a very young woman…many times I just wasn’t really listening.
Also, this was not a good audiobook. The narrator is fantastic but it was extremely confusing to understand who was speaking or being quoted and when.
I appreciated this book but I didn’t love it.
