hmcgivney 's review for:
The Sisters Brothers
by Patrick deWitt
I liked the book well enough in its characterizations, but the plot was a bit strange, and almost felt like it was beside the point. It didn't really matter what happened; the point was to spend some time with the Sisters brothers, and to see them in different situations.
I really liked Eli's voice, his observations and philosophizing. I didn't enjoy so much the casual violence against people and animals.
