Dylan by Jaymin Eve, Tate James

5.0

Dylan has been a favorite of most everyone from the very first book by Eve and James. These two know how to capture the reader's attention from the first word and holds it until the very last.

We get to see Dylan find his own end game in this book. Brooklyn has lived her life for everyone else and doing what she is told. If she fights back, she gets knocked down, and with the death of her parents, her older brother takes things to the extreme. Dylan is the only one who truly gives her the escape she needs, but she knows this is not something that can last forever.

Dylan is starting to look forward after leaving Rylie behind. Their relationship in the previous three books shows a connection that could have been something more. He finds someone of his own and does his best to keep her for himself until he can no longer hide just how much she means to him.

Dylan and Brooklyn meet up again after she walks away in the most unlikely of places. She proves she is more than just a pretty face and could actually be the one person who can break through all the walls Dylan has placed in his life. These two only see each other, but can they wade through the BS together to stay together????

Eve and James finally gave us the story we have always wanted in ways we never knew we needed. Their writing is flawless and flows from one writer to the other in a way that is synchronized; you don't know who writes what part. If this is the last of the Delta series, I would be OK, but I am greedy with the hope that Jasper and Evan will get their happily ever after too.
