crayolabird 's review for:
Scribbler of Dreams
by Mary E. Pearson
I am usually a huge fan of young adult fiction. This one, though, just did NOT do it for me. I felt like Pearson was trying SO HARD to teach me that "hate is bad, forgiving is good." For some reason, the love story was TOO Romeo and Juliet and the ending was lame for me. Maybe if I'd read it and loved it as a teenager, I would have a sentimental feeling for it, but I didn't. Good thing I only paid a dollar for it.
