They Never Learn by Layne Fargo

3.0

I read this because of a recommendation from a connection on bookstagram, and it was quite different from my usual flavor!

A fed up university professor takes matters into her own hands when privileged men take advantage of women and get away with it time and time again. The protagonist is burning with rage and literally killing rape culture, and I backed her 100%.

Likes:
-Fast-paced, short, cliff-hanging chapters.
-Reference to the 2004 film Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (Note to self: Rewatch soon)

Dislikes:
-Zero morally sound main characters. Zero.

But if they made a movie, I’d probably watch it.
