For only a 4.5hr audiobook, I found this quite moving. It took me a little to get into it but I really found the writing well done. I wish it was longer, I would just love more details about the characters’ lives and such. It was good and I would reccomend for anyone looking for a book centering on familial dynamics and identity, there is also an informative author’s note at the end with information about custody with lesbian parents during the time period the book centers on (80/90s). I enjoyed it, I wish it was longer because it was good.
