This was kind of the book equivalent of getting mostly vanilla in a bowl of Neapolitan ice cream; it's good, but there's better stuff available.
It was fairly well written, but pretty low on a whole lot of plot development. The characters were ok also well, but not particularly multidimensional.
My biggest issue is that right at the start, the hero is basically trying to pick up a chick at a disaster scene. You're an EMT dude, you have more important things to do than wax lyrical about a victim's brown eyes. And the heroine went from super shy to straddling a guy she had just met that day in less than 12 hours.
