Did not finish book. Stopped at 33%.

This book tried so hard to be something it simply wasn’t. First of all the characters are flat and extremely frustrating, secondly the pacing in this is all over the place. I adored “A dowry of blood” the authors other novel but I have to pass on this one, even though I tried loving it.
