Copper Creek by Cate Ashwood
4.0
This is an excellent continuation to what has become a favourite series. I love the small town feel of Sawyers Ferry. The environment lends itself to the fish out of water trope and, even more so than the first book, this trope is in full effect here with Frankie, Holden's fab-u-lous friend from NY, arriving in Sawyers Ferry to organise Holden and Gage's wedding. Once there he meets Barrett, a closeted bisexual who has never acted on his attraction to men. The writing is solid and the plot follows a similar line to the previous books in the series, but that familiarity of plot is one of the things I love about these books. Also the characters are great, well rounded and flawed but likeable.
Highly recommended, along with all the other books in the series.
