A Stolen Kiss
by Kelsey Keating
This story is about a prince, a swan, a sorcerer, a maid and a magic forest,a foggy marsh and snowy mountains. And not to forget, a true loves kiss and a unforgetting journey.
This story made me think of the Swanprincess, because the princess turns into a swan and Derric is the name of the prince in that story.
Maria is cursed, every night she turns into a swan and when the prince kisses her and ask for her hand in marriage she can't say yes. She is binded to another men, will they find him and break the curse? Together with her maid and her brother they are off to a wonderful journey to this mysterious woman who cast a spell upon Maria when she was young.
It's a fun read, not very romantic or in a very well build fantasy world. There is no action in this story or very imagination on clothing or places and that part is very dull. If she had a more world building I would give it more stars. But for the story itself it's fine. I think that the story isn't written as a real fantasy story but because she wanted to mix up a few stories together and make it funny. I love a funny story from time to time.
Even the names of the chapters are funny and the end of the book, after the story ends there is a little book about different spells and potions. And I think it's a nice touch to the story.
