This is a messy, super fun, romp of a book. 58 year old, lusty woman working in academia driven by obsession.  I enjoyed my experience of reading this so much however I must say I do feel it have the aspect of some debut novels where we want to put all our ideas into one story. This book is doing a lot. But mostly I was here for the wild ride. Also interesting reflections on aging, power dynamics, depression, shame and I appreciate that the main character has some unpopular opinions for 2022. Loved.
