laughed and cried along Maddie’s journey of self discovery through grief, shitty bosses, and complicated family life. I loved how relatable she was (hello Google searching all her problems), I was invested and rooting for her from page 1. A beautiful coming of age story that reminds you that nobody’s journey is linear, and it’s never too late to get in touch with who you are/who you want to be.
Graphic: Grief
Moderate: Sexual content, Death of parent, and Cursing
Minor: Racism
