And the Mountains Echoed by Khaled Hosseini

I've been wanting to read this book for a while because I LOVED "A Thousand Splendid Suns". This book was just as good. I couldn't put it down. What I loved about it was each chapter was someone else's point of view. And sometimes it took a page or two for you to find out how that character was connected with someone else in the book. I also loved how not all the stories ended happily, in fact, you only got a glimpse into some of the character's lives. It was more real to me that way. The author did a good job of showing life doesn't always get a happy ending like most books want you to believe.
