I think for DC fans this series is probably great, but personally I should have dropped it a lot sooner and only ended up reading this much because I like the author and kst kept leaving it on my pull-list.
It feels like it's heavily playing off the AU elements of these stories which completely makes sense and would be a lot of fun! If only I knew what the original stories were so I could be in on the fun. Occasionally I find myself smiling at a twist on the Supergirl story but for everyone else, I don't have the background knowledge. And that could be fine if it wasn't a team book with a million characters, but personally I am not a fan of superhero team books and movies in general for this very reason. It always feels like I'm only getting the briefest development with any character before being ripped to another storyline.
