I enjoyed this book a lot more than its preceding text, My Name is Lucy Barton. Although the stories are shorter and focus on individual lives, the characters are more interesting and the connections between them are well woven. It’s still not a patch on Olive Kitteridge and I didn’t like the final story at all, but it was a good read on the whole with some very poignant and moving moments.
